I use this blog to reflect and distill my thinking about simulations and games for learning. I look for ready to use resources to quickly create active learning experiences that engage and inform. I also share, news, ideas, and just for fun.

Experimental Gameplay - Rapid Game Design CMU

Experimental Gameplay You can watch a presentation about this project and play some sample games.
This project started back in 2005 at CMU and is still going on. The original project: create 50 to 100 games in 1 semester. New games every week--each game must be made in less than 7 days; each game must be made by one person, including all art, sound, and programming; each game must be based around a certain "toy" ie. "gravity", "vegetation", "swarm behavior", etc.
