The
Challenge
Other simulations try to build skills in
highly abstract settings, leaving your
employees to extrapolate meaning for your
organization. Instead of lunar landings or
jungle adventures, our simulations allow
participants to practice the skills and
decisions that apply directly to your
business.
Our Approach
Our approach is to design is unique and will
provide you with three opportunities for
learning: participating in the design
process, testing, and
playing your own custom simulation.
- Design
Process
We work with you and your key staff
to map the essential business
processes that will form the core of
the simulation. If you have already
done the process mapping for your
company, we will use these results
and work with you to identify the
critical elements for the simulation.
We then craft a simulation that
recreates your "real world"
business processes. Our clients have
found that the mapping and
identification of critical processes
to be a valuable organizational
learning opportunity.
- Testing
We test the
simulation with key staff to ensure
that the results mirror "real
world" . The testing helps to
ground the simulation and builds a
shared understanding of how your
organization produces results. These
key staff form a learning core
that will reinforce the results as
the simulation is rolled out to the
entire company.
- Simulation Play
When you use your
simulation, classroom learning
focuses on your critical business
processes. The simulation
demonstrates the fundamental systems
of your organization. Participants
learn how their work contributes to
the bottom line. Because it is your
simulation, in-house delivery will be
easy to achieve. You will also be
able to modify the simulation to
reflect changing conditions in your
business.
